Abstract
The general purpose of this research is to study and determine the impact of the comparative study of the participation of the municipality and the private sector in the implementation of urban projects in the eastern and western Zainabieh streets located in the center of Zanjan city. The current research is an applied research in terms of its purpose. The statistical population of this research are experts in the field of urban management in Zanjan city. To determine the sample size, Morgan's table is used and the sampling method used in this research is simple random sampling. Usually, for the analysis of data related to descriptive research, the data of which is collected with a questionnaire, from the science of statistics and descriptive statistics techniques such as mean, sum, standard deviation, etc. and inferential statistics such as independent t-test, analysis of variance test , the Kolmogorov Smirnov test and... (due to the fact that there is only one variable in this research, independent univariate statistical tests were used) and quantitative techniques and SPSS 24 software is used. The results showed that the performance of the private sector in the field of investment, the implementation of construction projects in a shorter period of time, has more and more meaningful efficiency than the municipality, especially in the target area of this research (Eastern and Western Zainbiye Streets located in the center of Zanjan city). Therefore, considering the advantages of the private sector in the implementation of projects with the speed of action and favorable quality compared to the municipality, in order to encourage the private sector to participate and invest in construction projects, the research proposal is to reduce the tenure of the municipal institution in executive affairs and increase the Supervision and supervision in urban construction projects.
